Louie Anderson has been selling out Las Vegas showrooms for nearly a quarter of a century, turning 1,000-plus-seat theatres into an intimate setting where audience members feel like they are being entertained in his living room. Now, Anderson has brought his larger-than-life persona to the Excalibur Las Vegas for an indefinite run.
"Actors go to Broadway, movie stars go to Hollywood and comedians go to Vegas," said Anderson. Produced by Adam Steck, “Louie: Larger Than Life” will feature Anderson’s hilarious stories and edgy material created only for the Vegas crowds.
Comedy Central recently named Louie Anderson “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” The multi-talented comedian/actor’s resume includes hosting the syndicated hit series, Family Feud, and being the executive producer and creator of the two-time Emmy Award winner animated series on FOX, Life With Louie. He has starred in his own HBO and Showtime comedy specials and has been a frequent guest of late night talk shows. He also has guest starred on such popular sitcoms as Scrubs and Grace Under Fire, dramas including Touched by an Angel and Chicago Hope and has made memorable featured roles in films such as “Coming to America” opposite Eddie Murphy.
